Lynx Clubhouse Schematic Design

The Lynx Golf Course touts itself as offering northern Michigan golf without the drive north.

Thus, they wanted a new clubhouse that looked like it belonged in northern Michigan. They contracted us to do some schematic studies of which I was largely responsible. The exterior is log and stone and features a two story entry canopy framed with logs.

This as-of-yet unbuilt structure is sited to be convenient to the parking yet take advantage of the views over the rolling hills of the golf course from the back deck. Since The Lynx hosts a large number of outings and receptions, they wanted a large banqueting hall as well as adjacent outdoor space for barbeques.
