A Bit About Me
I am an architectural professional who loves inspiring architecture that responds to its local context, good neighborhoods with sidewalks, and the local coffeehouse–especially if they have a fireplace. I am equipped with degrees in architecture and interior architecture and twenty years of experience that have been as varied as cinder block huts in the Philippines to million dollar condos in Michigan.
My background includes involvement in a number of architectural design projects and I have played various roles in these projects—from draftsman to architectural designer to project leader.
Additionally, I’ve done a number of planning projects that included helping the client define the problem they’re trying to solve, setting goals and budgets, programming the project, and selecting the site. This all culminated in long-range master plans to guide the development of the client’s facilities.
I am a skilled drafter, both on the board and the computer. My CAD experience has been with AutoCAD (since version 2.5); I am also experienced with Google Sketch Up. I enjoy architectural delineation, even finding it therapeutic, and am competent with pencils and markers.
